THE RULE BOOK
You must follow and read through the rules before you start!
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
OOC: Out of Chracter
When you post in a roleplay... do not make your entire post
just a single line of out of character discussion... if you're
gonna do OOC, do it in PM or on some chat service... or at
least acompany it with some IC (in character) actions.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Two Places at Once
Please be careful when you RP with one character, it's going to make it hard for admins to keep track of the rps if you keep putitng your same character in about 4 different places.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Combat Rules
Taking up the powerplaying, time with counter examples for easier understanding.
Example:
"Bob punches Boba in the face making him go unconcious."
ANALYSE: Okay as you can see, he is inforcing his hit. Including making him go unconcious" is a typical example.
try use a sentence like:
"Bob attempts to punch boba in the face, thus waiting for his reaction, although there is a good chance he might go unconcious."
ANALYSE: here this is fine. You are just saying what your're attempting to do. Not forcing it to hit.
In overall;
Never say you actually hit. It is the defending player that decides if it hits, where it hits and how it hurts.
Saying things like "attempting, aims, trying" and such is very good.
If youve fought a powerplaying character before, you know how
annoying it is when they seem to be all godlike and dodge every single attack in some miracular way, while yourself have been hit several times.
Not really a rule, but a tip;
Try get hit once in a while. If your evening the damage
(if the players are of same level of course) it will be more fun.
Think...
When you want to dodge an attack, think. Is it possible for me
to dodge it? Some people just write out: **** dodges the punch...
But if your nailed to the ground and still dodges...something is wrong.
Cybering (Internet Sex)
We're not obviously getting through to you people about this and I don't mean people who can't see because they're blind. Cybering is basicly having sex on chat, forum, emails etc etc. Showing affection to another character
is allowed but having sex on forums is NOT ALLOWED! and I don't mean
just on this forum but on all other forums because if you did, you'd
get banned for sure. Common sense! Most RP forums are likely not to
be R18. And this one obviously isn't so if you want to Cyber do it
outside forums and in the privacy of your MSN/Aim/Yim messengers!

RPG Rules
Role Playing Rules:
Role Playing Rules:
1. Use quotations when you're character is talking. It makes it much more easier to see when your character is talking and/or doing an action.
2. Role Play in Story Format, that means do not use an asterick (*) or anything else to mark when your character is doing an action. Story Format is most easy described if you were writing a book.
3. Try and keep things in third person. A lot of people write in third person and it is easier for the flow of the story line if it was all kept the same.
Example of 1, 2, and 3:
Good: She smiled at him as she stated, "Hello," nodding slightly as she said, "Yes, I'm new here. Is it that obvious?"
Bad: *I smile at him* Hello *I nod* Yes I'm new here. Is it that obvious?
4. Keep moding limited - doing other character's, besides your own, actions for them. Everyone on this board are big boys and girls they can do their actions. You don't have to do that for them. So keep it limited, namely a little it allowed but don't go over board. And if the person you are role playing does not what you to do their character's actions, no matter how little you are doing, and they tell you so please respect their wish and cease it.
5. Try not to do one or two words post. It wastes a lot of space, expecially when you're the person replying. It's kind of disappointing to come back to a thread to find that the person you are Role Playing with replied and it's only a couple words long.
There are cerain things we might not let you have in shoping though and examples of this is having the ultimate weapon acquired while you shopped in a secret shopping spree. Anything silly will most likely buy you infame among the mods and admins and you'll soon become infamous. So be reasonable when you rp things out.
It is meant to be fun and if you see that you're not enjoying it because such and such problems you NEED to tell us about it. Admins and mods are meant to be the ones who look after the forum and it's inhabitant so speak out if you have something that troubles you.
Out Of Character Discussion Rules
No flaming. Unmotivated assaults on other members of the board will have consequences.
Please stay away from sexually explicit or adult content. As stated in the conforums TOS, any posts of such nature will be deleted.
Try to keep on-topic. There will be a fair amount of leniency in regards to this rule, as it's more of a guideline than anything else.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Roleplaying Rules
Limit your OOC content to the occasional note or comment. Anything more than this will most likely be unnecessary and disruptive to the roleplay.
No godmoding. I think you all know what that means by now, so we're not going to give any examples.
Any characters will have to be cleared by the admin team before they can be put into roleplay.
Cursing is allowed if used with moderation and in character.
Proper grammar is encouraged. We realise that there will be members to whom english is not their first language, but try to keep your spelling and general grammar correct to the best of your abilities.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
Administrative/Moderative Procedure
Showing blatant disregard for the boards rules will lead to an admin or moderator sending you a warning via the private messaging systems. Continuing this bad behaviour will cause the admin team to take action as we see fit.
The admins are here to help you out, not just to kick up dirt when someone does anything wrong. If you have a question or suggestion concerning the board, either post it in the Feedback section or let us know about it via a private message.
Even though an admin's or moderator's word is usually considered final, don't hesitate to question us if you feel you have a valid argument for your opinion.
If you're going to contact us, do it via private messages. Not only will we not respond to your e-mails, we will also kill you. j/k
Punishment
