Luxord exited his pathway of darkness and entered the safety of his classroom. He did not want the Superior to know that he had skipped out to buy a new deck of cards. Nervously looking around, he sat on/in? his desk and opened the deck. "Yess... That fresh clean smell."
Setting up a game of Solitaire, Luxord waited for his students. He was very prepared to teach them all the skills they would need to get through life. Life was a game of choice, who better to teach them than the Gambler of Fate. After a few games, Luxord began to get impatient. Where are my students?, he thought.
A few seconds later, he remembered that he shared a hall with Sephiroth... Luxord doubted he would get any ALIVE students now.

Xigbar entered the room boredly, a clipboard in hand. He waved with his free hand and took a seat in the back of the room. "I've come to evaluate how you teach your class... yadayadya... Beca--Oooh. Are those new cards?" Xigbar WAS bored and there probably wouldn't be a class. Sephiroth would more than likely end up killing the students. So why not actually do something useful?

Luxord paniced. These were HIS new cards! Not Xigbars! Xigbar would get his nasty little hands on the cards and.... BEND THE CORNERS or something!
"Umm.... No......," Luxord lied unconvincingly, "These are... Umm.... Snacks! That look like cards! Yea.... All the rage, let me tell you." He quickly stuffed the cards under his seat, "I'll... Save them for later... Yea! So... How are you this lovely day, Mr. Xiggy-I mean Xigbar."

Xigbar sighed. Luxord was so protective of his cards. Like a motherly figure. It was actually very creepy. "I'm sure they are. You have fun with those 'snacks' now." Xigbar replied; a hint of sarcasm lingered in his voice, "And don't call me Mr. Xiggy." He glared at the Australian gambler and shook his head. There went his salvation from the overwhelming boredum.

Luxord pulled at his goatee. He's on to me , he thought, he's going to ask to eat them! And they'll have Xiggles drool on them. My dear babies... I will protect them! "Sir Xiggumz-XIGBAR, Um.... I have... A....A....A... GIFT for you.....Umm.. Yes... Indeed...." Luxord glanced around quickly, a gift?! What would I give him? And him not shoot me after I gave it to him!?
Luxord pulled a dice from under his desk and threw it at Xigbar, "THINK FAST!"

Xigbar stood up and pulled out one of his guns, lightning fast, and shot the die as blew up with a bang. He didn't need yet another scar on his face. He nodded to himself proudly. He still had his great aim. Having laser-shooting guns was so much fun! He growled angrily and pointed his gun at the desk, "Next time you pull something like that, your cards get it."

"My.... My... MY CARDS?! ARE YOU THREATENING MY CARDS?!" Luxord lept/leaped/lepted over the desk and pointed a finger at Xiggz and began to walk to him, "You walk into MY classroom, you sit in MY chair, you blow up MY die, and now YOU ARE THREATENING MY CARDS?!" he shouted, poking Xigbar hard in the chest. Calming down a bit, Luxord regained his normal composture and backed off. "You are squandering my time."

"Dude, that'd hurt if I existed. Stop it." Xigbar pushed Lux's hand away from his chest, "Man, you think I want to be doing this? It's school stuff. I enjoy being stuck in a room with you about as much as I would enjoy getting a tooth pulled."
Xigbar sighed and sat back down. Why not mess with Luxord to pass the time? At least he wasn't bored anymore.

"If you choose to stay then.... Let us play a game of chance." Luxord pulls out a DIFFERENT OLDER WELL LOVED deck of cards from his....e.e;;;. He spreads them out and holds them to Xigbar. "Whoever draws a card of the Heart suit has to wrestle a croc. You may choose first," Luxord smiles.
((God, I SUCK at RPing. Forgive me, dear Pyff.))

Xigbar groaned. "Who do you think you are? Yu-Gi-Oh or something and this is your shadow game? Will I get sent to the shadow realm if I lose? Fine, I'll play your silly game."
Xigbar held his breathe as he drew a card. PHEW. It was an ace of spades.

Luxord smiled. As any good gambler knows, a deck contains only 13 cards of each suit. The first draw had a 13/52 or 25% chance to gain the Heart card, now his own chances would be 13/51 or only 25.4%. If he passed this draw alright, which he most likely would, Xigbar's chances would have to be 26%! Before Luxord drew his next card he made a mental note to remember to put the croc in ice before having anyone wrestle it....
A 5 of clubs!

Xigbar tapped his foot anxiously. He wouldn't fight the crocodile anyways. He'd just shoot it. Stupid Luxord. Xiggy hoped that Luxord had the croc on ice first... Hehe... Croc on ice. It sounded like some sort of drink or drug to him. He drew a card and....
YES! Queen of clubs. He was safe... for now.

No! Luxord started to become slightly worried. I now have a 26.5% chance! But no matter, luck is on my side. Taking a deep breath, he closed his eyes and roved(?) his fingers over the cards. This seems like a good one! Luxord drew the card and gasped. No... This can't be happening... It was only a 26.5%! But if luck willed it to be so, it must be so. Holding his card so Xigbar could see, he showed him the Jack of Hearts.
