A very sadistic and creepy smile was beginning to creep onto Xigbar's face. "So where is this croc of yours, man?" he asked sarcasticly. (Yeah. It's short. So sorry.)

Saïx enters the classroom, having overheard their talk of croc wrestling.
"What's this I hear about someone wrestling a crocodile?"
His massive Claymore appears in his hand as he says,
"I believe the school can do without that kind of thing. Sephiroth is already going to do away with enough students as it is; we don't need you two getting more killed by having a wild animal inside the school."

Xigbar rolled his eyes. Stupid Saïx, always the party pooper. "It was all Steve Irwen wannabe's idea. Why does Sephiroth get all the fun?" Xigbar whined, "I wanted to see the Aussie wrestle a croc. Come on... It'll be fuuuun. We don't have to tell Mansex... IMEANXEMNAS."

Luxord glanced at Xigbar, giving him an evil look. "I believe that Saïx is correct. We should not risk our students being injured," Luxord said, then added with an undertone, "If I had any students." Nervously pulling at an earing, he tried to turn the conversation, "Now, is there a reason as to why my students have not shown up?," Luxord inquired, "Or shall I have more time to... prepare?"

"I am currently not sure if they'll be arriving or not; as it turns out, Xaldin has been telling them rather... innapropriate things about you. Whether or not they are true is up to debate. All I know is that it will take a day or so to gather the students in one place long enough to inform them that you do NOT in fact force them to 'put the ace of spades where the sun does not shine'."

"Xaldin told them WHAT?!" Luxord shouted while taking a step to Saïx. "And you didn't tell me this till now because?! I thought the fear of Sephiroth was all I had to deal with, but now this? Ace of Spades? Cards are used for gambling! Not inappropriate.... dealings!" After a few deep breaths he calmed down. Smirking, he said, "Maybe I should take this up with Xaldin...?" Grabbing his new cards, Luxord disappeared into a portal of darkness.

A portal of darkness appear in the middle of the room, transporting Luxord back to where he was supposed to be. "If only I had some students," he sighed, sitting at his desk.

From out of nowhere, Selphie would just randomly pop into the room with a slight smile, "Hey, is this the Life Skills class?"

Luxord toppled out of his seat in surprise at the sudden arrival of a student. “Wha..Huh? Oh, A STUDENT,” he gasped, amazed. Someone made it down the hall after all! Composing him self, he stood and smiled, “Yes, this is the Life Skills class. I am to be your teacher, Professor Luxord. In this class- Wait, are you my only student?” ((Sorry about the delay, my compy's internet died. ))

Selphie looked out in the hallway and shrugged, "I dunno. Maybe I am."

Luxord quickly ran to the door and glanced out. Totally barren. A tumble weed was all the scene needed to be complete. “Umm… Well…,” he began, thrown off by the lack of students, “As I was saying before…. In this class, you will learn about life and how everything in it is completely left up to luck.” Picking up a piece of chalk, he continued on, “But, as I will teach you….,” Luxord placed the chalk on the board and wrote as he spoke,”CHANCE-FAVORS-THE-PREPARED-MIND!” Looking to his student, he added, “This is the most important thing that you will learn in my class. If you leave here knowing only one thing, let it be this.”
((Wheeeeee. xD ))

{ xD }
Selphie took her seat and started to write down what the teacher was saying.
A question soon came to her mind, "So, you're saying that life is all about luck or does it have another meaning of the sort?"

Luxord looked at his student like she had just cursed. “Wha…? LIFE IS ALL ABOUT LUCK! NOTHING ELSE MATTERS,” he shouted, shaking the chalk in the air like a weapon of sorts, “AND I AM HERE TO DRILL THAT INTO YOUR HEAD AND TO HELP GIVE YOU THE BEST CHANCES IN LIFE!!”
Taking a deep breath, he continued on, turning his outburst into a lesson, “Let us say… That you are… Baking a cake of sorts,” Luxord began to draw a diagram of the said cake, “Now, if you walk off, without knowing how long that the cake needs to bake, chances are that you will leave the cake in long enough for it to catch on fire and burn down your house.” He finished his instructional drawing with a house on fire and children jumping out the upper windows.
“Understand?”
((That made me giggly.))

Selphie just stared at the awkward drawing that was on the board after the teacher had finished his outburst.
She drew down the instructual picture as part of her notes before she asked, "Now, is there something in the pic that pertains to luck in any way?"
Selphie wanted to know what this have to do with luck exactly.
"Wait, I have a better question: What would happen if you were able to take the cake out at a correct time? Would that have been just a coincidence of remembering it was in there or just a luck of the draw?"

Luxord smiled at his student. “There are no such things as coincidences,” he said while getting into writing position once more. “Now, if you are prepared to make this cake, and know how long it takes to bake,” Luxord drew a classroom with students ‘learning’ in it,” chances are that you will come back in time to stop the cake from catching fire and burning down your home.” He finished his short lesson with a picture of a stick figure holding a cake and smiling. “Do you understand?”
((Forgive me! I've been out of town! ))
